Our Mission Statement:
"WQRI is a student-operated station licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). WQRI was established to act as an educational vehicle for students at Roger Williams University. It's first and foremost objective is educating its members on the operation of WQRI and the business aspect of the radio industry. All students are given the opportunity to learn about all aspects of radio: programming, production, promotion, music, etc. Members of WQRI also have the opportunity to serve on the station's Executive Board (E-board), to build leadership skills and get a better understanding on what it's like to operate a radio station."
