Spring Spectacle This Weekend
Our Spring Spectacle concert with Musician's Guild is coming up this weekend on Saturday. The RWU student band, Break of Dawn, will be starting the show at 4:00PM in front of the Recreation Center. A Faylene Sky will play second and Monty Are I will go on third! We'll also be having a 50-50 Raffle during the concert so that you can win some cash and there will be a Del's Lemonade truck there selling lemonade! We will also be giving away some "VIP" passes at the concert so that you can hang out with Monty Are I at the end of the show. Basically, it's going to be an awesome day so you better not miss it, or we'll hunt you down. Just kidding. Maybe. Finally, you may check out a flier for the concert found here.
WQRI Back On Air
Just wanted to let you know that after a few unhappy days of being off air, we were able to fix a problem in our transmitter caused by a recent power outage on campus. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Transmitter Technical Difficulties
Hi everyone, WQRI 88.3 FM will unfortunately be temporaily down due to transmitter malfunctions caused by a recent power outage. We hope to be back in the next day or two. Thanks for your understanding and keep on tuning in to see if we're back on air.

WQRI Updates
Howdy, just wanted to inform you of some updates concerning WQRI and the website. First of all, we've added some pictures to our Flickr page of recent events and we should be getting some more up very soon. We also will be posting some videos soon of DJ's shows and WQRI events, be sure to lookout for those coming soon. I've added some upcoming events to the website, you can see those details on the left side. Finally, the show schedule will be fully updated in the next few days so that you can see which shows are on WQRI and find out information about each show. WQRI Hip Hop Birthday Bash

Join us for a Hip Hop event of epic proportions Friday, February 20th from 9-11pm in the Upper Commons. Performances include the Hip Hop master Louis Logic, freestyle from Mathpanda, and an R&B set from Bad Rabbits. Enjoy treats from the handcrafted cupcake tower and score your own pair of Kayne-style shutter shades. All guests will also have the opportunity to win a custom WQRI grill, iced out to the max. Start of the Spring 2009 Semester
Hi everyone, we hope that you all had a great Winter break and were able to obtain some much needed rest. We also hope however, that you are eager to begin another semester with WQRI! Our first meeting will be Wednesday February 4th, at 6:00PM in SE 125. Hope to see all of our returning DJs as well as some new faces. WQRI is always looking to expand its family so please do let anyone know who is possibly interested in joining the radio station where they can find us. I think it's safe to say we have a very fun semester planned for the station so come next Wednesday with your game faces.
60 Feet Of Stupid On Air Interview!

Updated Schedule
Hey everyone, the schedule is now finally all up to date so check that out to see all the awesome shows put on by our DJs. Also, we are adding some bios for our E-Board members so also check those out under the Contact section. And we have a Q Concert Series this Friday at 4:00PM outside of the Recreation Center (rain location: Faculty Dining Room). The band 60 Feet of Stupid will be playing so please come support WQRI and see a great band!

Kicking Off Fall 2008 Semester!
Hey everyone, I have some updates for you. First of all, we are looking forward to our spring concert this Thursday with the Musician's Guild. It is called "Spring Spectacle" and will be taking place at 7:30PM in the Hawk's Hangout. We have three bands playing which are Forest Henderson, Cambiata, and Stealing Jane. So definitely come by to have a great time and see some great bands. We also wanted to give you a heads up about this summer. We will be moving our antenna in May so we will be off air throughout the summer. Fortunately, the listen live will still be up and running so be sure to still tune into WQRI through your computer. We should be up and running again on the air waves that coming Fall. I will also be adding more events to the website shortly so check those out on the left side of this page.
